Emily Carson
Miss Teen North Dakota
International 2011
Never be afraid to do something new and everything happens for a reason are two mottos that Miss Teen North Dakota International 2011 Emily tries to live by. They certainly applied to her life when she entered the world of pageantry two years ago and helped lead her to capture the crown and title on December 4th 2010 in Fargo.
Emily believes that as Miss Teen North Dakota International she can be a positive role model in the community and to her peers. One way of doing this is by working with the American Lung Association in and The American Heart Association's Go Red for Women. She was also able to make a difference by working with ND Governor John Hoeven to establish North Dakota's first ever Teen Tobacco Free Day which happened this past November.
Emily maintains a 4.0 grade point average while enjoying the duties of Miss Teen North Dakota, being a varsity cheerleader, and involved in rodeo with events such as barrel racing, pole bending and bull riding.
Emily has a very supportive family and would like to thank her sponsors, friends & family for all the support they have shown her and says, “with your faith and support in me, I can be anything I want to be. I can’t thank you enough. Thanks a Million!!”
